Best clubs in Bangkok

Bangkok's clubs are spread across five areas that are nothing like each other, so a single list only helps if you can see what each venue actually is and where it sits. Every venue below was read from its own Google Business Profile on 8 September 2026 — category, address and rating — and ordered by that rating rather than by our opinion. Where a venue publishes its own entry price, that price is quoted and linked to the venue that published it.

Clubs

Venues Google files as nightclubs — rooms with a dance floor, not bars with music. The bars, rooftops and live-music venues are listed separately below, because a page headed “clubs” should not quietly mean “places that open late”.

Silom, Khao San and Ratchada

Silom is Bangkok's LGBTQ+ nightlife centre, and Soi 4 is the middle of it — The Stranger Bar for drag, The Balcony Pub for an open-air night, G Bangkok for a late one, and DJ Station a few doors away. Telephone Pub, on the same soi since 1987, has closed.

Khao San is cheaper and louder: The Club for a dance floor, Brick Bar for live music, Mulligans for a pub. Superflow, the outdoor club at number 9, has closed.

Ratchada is the honest gap in this list. Its draw is the night markets rather than clubs, and the venues we checked there either could not be confirmed or turned out to be restaurants — so nothing from Ratchada is listed above rather than something being listed on a guess. The clubbing on that side of town is RCA, which is the next section.

And the strip we actually live on

Everything above is spread across the city. RCA is the exception: one road in Huai Khwang with the biggest rooms in Bangkok on it, which is why it gets the depth on this site rather than a table row. Opening hours there come from each venue's own Business Profile, and entry prices only appear where a venue publishes them.

What is the best club in Bangkok?

Of the venues Google files as nightclubs, What's Happened in EmSphere rates highest at 4.8. That measures how its own customers rate it, not a judgement of ours — the ordering here is a number you can check rather than an editorial ranking.

How much does it cost to get into a Bangkok club?

Most Bangkok clubs do not publish a standing entry fee, which is why so many guides invent one. Where a venue does publish, we quote it: Mustache Bangkok lists ฿350 presale and ฿500 on the door including a drink before midnight, and Route 66 at RCA lists event tickets between ฿400 and ฿900, usually including a drink or cash coupon. Anything else you see quoted for a named Bangkok venue is probably an estimate.

Which Bangkok area has the best clubs?

RCA has the largest concentration of big rooms on one walkable strip. Sukhumvit and EmSphere have the newest and most design-led venues. Silom is where the underground house and techno scene sits. Thonglor is bars and cocktails more than dance floors.

How is this list ordered?

By Google rating, highest first, with ties broken alphabetically. Review counts are shown where the listing displays one. Everything was checked on 8 September 2026, and the date is on the page so you can tell how stale it is.

Are any of these clubs closed?

Six of them. Insanity on Sukhumvit Soi 11, BEAM in Thonglor, Studio Lam, Maggie Choo's, Telephone Pub on Silom Soi 4 and Superflow on Khao San are all marked permanently closed on their own Google listings, and BEAM's website no longer resolves either. They are listed here rather than deleted, because every one of them is still being recommended by guides published this year.
